Social media use soaring across construction
More than 1,000 companies from all sides of the construction industry have now signed-up to the Enquirer social media service.
And more than 600 firms have already gone live with their accounts and are blogging and tweeting their latest news and developments on the Social Club.
The club is the perfect place to highlight everything going on at your company in front of the Enquirer’s huge industry audience.
The Social Club gives you access to your own page highlighting all your social media activities in one place.
Companies have control over their own account to edit their entries once they are signed-up.
Your account goes live when your first blog is up and running and members go to the top of the “logo wall” on the home page every time they post a new story.
Signing-up is a simple process and pages can be updated in minutes.
The club is proving popular with all sides of the industry from contracting giants like Bouygues and Osborne to subcontractors and suppliers of all types.
One member said: “We see social media as a growing part of our business and the Social Club is the perfect place to promote our messages to the wider industry.”
Another added: “We run our account almost like an online in-house magazine.
“It keep clients and staff up-to-date on what we are doing and is updated regularly by our PR people.”
The Social Club will be free to use until the end of the year when a £100 a month charge will be introduced to host blogs and tweets.
New features to be added next year include a dedicated Twitter feed to promote job vacancies at member firms.
